There is little that proprietor Paul Marsh does not know about off-road expedition vehicles. He has driven the length of Africa three times, crossed the South American continent and travelled from London to Sydney in 2005.
In 2008, Paul and his wife, a GP, were the technical and medical support crew for an expedition rally from Panama to Alaska. It is a trip they took in their stride. At the other end of the scale, one of their African expeditions lasted 14 months, covering 40,000 miles.

Paul’s career, after studying engineering, included being a safari guide in Botswana as well as owning his own business in the motor trade, preparing expedition vehicles in South Africa. The couple moved to England in 1997 and two years later Paul established Footloose 4x4.
Paul was involved in one of the legendary Camel Trophy events, drove from London to Sydney, supporting 20 vehicles. Another trip led him on an arctic rally to the North Cape, and he was technical back-up on a marathon trip from London to Cape Town, nursing some 80 vehicles including many classic cars to the finish line.
A similar trip around South America was a real test of endurance, and almost cost him his life after a near fatal accident. This trip had over a 100 vehicles on it.
Paul and his wife are now part of Global Rally Organisation, which has the Rallye Med trip round the Mediterranean planned for 2010. Then in 2012 another spectacular adventure from Columbia to Tierra del Fuego.
“I have a passion for travelling and seeing other people live the same dream is very fulfilling. I subscribe totally to the ethos of “One life, Live it.”
